FSATM #7, Holidays & Madness

Hellooo!

I’ve just survived another half term holiday, and I got a guitar! It’s an Epiphone Cherry SG (Click Here to see a photo) and it’s pretty epic, I’ve done some band practice, jammin’ n that. I’ve also had terrible luck. I ordered Pokemon Platinum for DS about a month ago, and it arrived and I played it. Turned out that if it was off for a few hours, all the save data would DISAPPEAR and you’d have to start again. So I got a refund and bought it somewhere else. And you know what they did?

They sent me Mario Kart.

I’ve already got it! I don’t need another copy! I didn’t even order it!! So I sent that back to, turns out it was a mistake, and now I have Pokemon Platinum. It freezes occasionally, but it hasn’t for a few days so I’ll probably keep it. It only cost me about 14 quid!

I’d better get on with my Fav Songs At The Moment section anyway, that’ll be gooooood. Here goes:

Easter Thanks

Yes, I’d like the Easter thanks, and possible a little Christmas as a side dish? Yup, that’s cool. Hm? Oh yes please, some Hanukoka-Cola too, that’s cool.

NOOO, of course I don’t mean “Easter Thanks” that way. I mean, I have some people to thank for keeping me going. OK, it probably sounds better now than it really is, but these people have helped me so I can make more posts and stuff. They haven’t even done much, just left good comments and stuff, but that’s nice. I haven’t got loads, but I have quite a few cool comments from certain people. Some have been left in the feedback section of the site, on my homepage. Yeah. Here are a few:

Eaten Bolognese!

Wait, did I say Eaten Bolognese? Sorry, I meant to say Easter Holidays…my mistake. *ahem* Anyway, so yeah, it’s the Easter holidays! Has been for over a week now, WELL FOR ME ANYWAY MUHAHAHA Um, that was quite scary, please don’t ask what happened. Yupwesz (“yuwesz” is Swedish for “I hope you understand”).

So, I’ve had quite a lot of fun over the holidays. Been swimming, seen little kids (lots of ‘em, lol), went to church…um…I’ve woken up…I’ve fallen asleep…yeah. Oh, I remember now! I got two new albums recently, American Idiot by Green Day and The Open Door by Evanescence. Green Day are amazing, for want of a better word I’m “addicted” to their music at the moment. Not as much as Muse ‘n’ stuff though. Evanescence are awesome too, although they’re not that new to me as I got their debut album, Fallen, a while ago. That’s really good too.

It’s Easter Sunday today, remember, the day that Jesus came back to the life ‘n’ that. Or maybe you just like it for the eggs. I dunno! I’m going to church later, and I’m not one of the kids who eats all of his eggs before he’s even had breakfast. I saaavvve them. Kinda. Yupwesz.

And, of course, there’s one thing I CANNOT forget. It’s on 18th April…oh. Well, if you were one of my better fans you would know that it’s my birthday on 18th April.

…I know! I’m excited too. What, you’re not? *sniff* Lol anyway, I am excited, although I’m trying not to be too excited ‘cos then I’ll wake up at about 3 in the morning on the day. But I am looking forward to it. I’m not gonna have any kind of Club Penguin party this year, thankfully, because I don’t play it anymore. Anyway, no-one bothered to visit those parties, probably because I’m in England so it was awkward times. Is 8:30am too early for you guys? Well, it wouldn’t be bad for ME anyway. Lol.

I gotta go, see ya, and if you’re lucky I might blog here on my birthday. Probably not, I’ll be enjoying whatever I get for my birthday. (Please, Guitar Hero 4, come to my house…)

Three New Wallpapers

Hi!

I’ve just made three new wallpapers, two music-related ones and the other with a nice Easter theme, because…well, ‘cos it’s Easter really. *looks at watch* Ooh, it is nearly Easter as well! Faaancy that! Y’know, yesterday I ran into this awfully nice bloke who was – oh sorry, I’m rambling like a chatty old woman again. I do that all the time. Yup. *nods head knowingly*

Anyway, so first up lets get the Easter wallpaper. Remember, all of my wallpapers are widescreen, ‘cos my monitor is, so if yours isn’t then too bad. Well, you could try and use it, and it might work OK, but I make them for myself mainly so they’re only here in case anyone does want them.

This wallpaper has loads of eggs in the background and something saying Happy Easter! in the middle. It’s simple, but works quite well. Just’a Click Here for the link! (I use links ‘cos they’re pretty big so take ages to upload here, plus you won’t see them that well here anyway)

Next up: a Muse wallpaper. The British space rockers are, and have been for some time, my favourite band (sorry Linkin Park, but you’re SECOND). You may not know them that well, but this image is their album Origin Of Symmetry, which is probably their best This image was pretty damn hard to make, as I had to copy the image twice. (the album isn’t rectangular, you know!) It took a bit of work, getting all the shadows to work with the other part, making it fit, getting the colours right etc. It’s probably my favourite one, so if you like Muse please give it a go! And finally, my *third* favourite band, Paramore. This wallpaper took me about a minute to make, seriously. All I did was grab an image of Google Images and resized it a bit. That’s about it. FSATM #5…or something

I know I did a Fasattum thingy just the post before, but I don’t really update this site much anyway so that’s cool. It’s probably quite different to whatever I’ve had before…I dunno. Should be! But here’s some of my favourite songs at the moment, anyway.

I would have liked a bit of Weird Al Yankovic too, but you can’t have everything. Anyway, I listen to his music ‘cos it’s funny, not because it’s good music. Yeah, it is really good music, but that’s not the reason. Oh, and I haven’t gone off Linkin Park by the way. I admit that I don’t listen to ‘em much, but I still like ‘em. Although I probably like Muse more now.

12/04/09 edit: I look back at this now and think, “Wow, why did I choose some of THOSE songs?!” and it’s just over a month later. OK, well, it’s just two of them that I think were a strange choice…Franklin by Paramore and Going Under by Evanescence. I would definitely choose Bring Me To Life over Going Under, ‘cos although they’re both good, Bring Me To Life is better. And Franklin’s not amazing…it’s good, but when I did this I’m *sure* I would have chosen something like My Heart or Pressure (I got their first album around that time). Anyway, that’s enough rant, see ya’ll another time!

No, don’t worry, I haven’t been crowned as King. I’ve made a new blog with my friend Kingherptile called King Jakzar! See what I did there…anyway, we both update it, and it’s incredibly random. Stuff to Blog About

Hi There, people!

I’ve changed my header back to the one I used before. Hallowe’en is a thing of the past! Until next year…Oh, and I hope you all enjoyed it! Some people might have not enjoyed it, but there you go. Hallowe’en is one of those Marmite things – you either love it or hate it. Although I don’t mind it. There’s always someone who doesn’t mind things like this.

Anyway, onto what I’m going to talk about! Lol I can’t think of anything. I bought two albums yesterday, Reanimation by Linkin Park (remixes of the songs from Hybrid Theory, their first album) and The Trick to Life by The Hoosiers. They’re both pretty awesome! I’ve now got four Linkin Park albums. It’s my first one by The Hoosiers, but I think it’s their only one anyway so that’s cool. At the moment I’m listening to Everything Goes Dark by The Hoosiers. All the tracks (apart from the first one, Opening and the strange ones that aren’t remixes) have got the names of the original song but…different. Basically, Forgotten is changed to Frgt/10, In The End to Enth E Nd, One Step Closer to 1stp Klosr and so on.

Recently I’ve been playing a bit of RollerCoaster Tycoon 3. I owned 1 and 2 and loved ‘em both, but No. 1 doesn’t work on XP and I can’t find No. 2 so I’m playing No. 3. Even if they both worked I’d still play No. 3 anyway, but I wouldn’t mind playing No. 2 again if I can find it. So yeah, No. 3 is very good, the graphics a bit strange but they’re quite good. I’ve made loads of huge, exciting and slightly dangerous coasters in this Sandbox (unlimited money) park. I’ve done a bit of Career mode, but at the moment I’m not. I use a lot of the preset coasters too, ‘cos they’re really fun to ride (if you’ve played it, you’ll probably know that you can use something called CoasterCam which basically puts the camera in the carriage so it’s like your riding it…except it’s not as good as the real thing).

What else to say…I’ve played The Sims 2 as well. I’ve got four of the expansion packs (Bon Voyage, Open for Business, Pets and University) so I’ve got loads to do. I sent three kids to university, three kids called Ricky Drake, Chavvo Drake and Aimee Robinson. Ricky and Aimee liked each other a lot before they went, but Aimee kissed someone else so Ricky hated her. After ages and ages they began to like each other again and they got engaged. Meanwhile, Chavvo was just doing stuff. He got his Creativity skill to the top quite quickly, and he painted lots of the residents in the block they lived in. Although he was meant to be a bit of a chav, he got very high marks in his tests and liked writing books. Now they all live in a house together (the most expensive one in Pleasantview – lol), although Aimee and Ricky are on their honeymoon at Three Lakes. I think Aimee might be pregnant…I’m not sure yet.

You’re probably bored now, but if you actually bothered to read all that then that’s kinda cool. Well, it is to me anyway.

Linkin Park Wallpaper

Howdy peeps! It’s Jakzar again!

I was looking for a cool Linkin Park desktop wallpaper on Google. I didn’t really find anything good that was the right size for my monitor (1440×900). So, guess what I decided to do? You don’t know? Really? Oh…Ok, I’ll tell you then. I made my own! It’s quite simple, I just grabbed two images on Photoshop, adjusted the sizes a bit, added a few effects to the logo and added some text. I think it looks kinda cool, but I would, wouldn’t I? Please tell me what you think about it.

It’s quite big, so I won’t try and stick it on here or it might look a bit messy. However, I’ve uploaded it on Flickr, so you can Click Here if you want to see it, save it, set it as your background or whatever. I’ve got a widescreen monitor, so it won’t look right on most people’s computers. If your screen is 1440×900 then you’re lucky! But there probably won’t be many (if any) people who do have that size screen, love Linkin Park, visit this site and are in need of a new background. But who knows? Maybe people will look it up on Google Images. Hmm, I wonder if it is there…can’t find it yet…ah well.

If you search Linkin Park Jakzar on Google Images then all the results are from my site! There are only 6 pages though lol! Whoa, what just happened? I didn’t say Lolz! I’m free of this curse! Wait…no…doesn’t matter. I still say lolz sometimes. “What’s he on about?” you may ask. Well, you should do. Even I don’t know! All I can see is a huge block of text in front of me, and it’s slowly getting bigger and bigger. I think you should leave. I’m scaring myself…ah well, it is nearly Hallowe’en. Muhahahahaha! Ah, good old days. What? Doesn’t matter. Goodbye.

I’m back! For reeeaaaaaal!

I’m baaaaaaccccccck! But I’m not a penguin any more. I don’t really play any MMOs at the moment, so I don’t want to blog about stuff that I don’t want to blog about. Ikariam, eh? What’s That?

Hi There!

Have you been on Ikariam? If not, do so now! It’s free (there is a membership option, but don’t bother with it), easy and awesome! My CP friends Nattynoodle, Chrissynator, Oor Yaya and the like have all joined too!

This is not just a blog . . .

Hiya!

So . . . I don’t still do the “Updated Every Friday!” thing. And I haven’t made the type of website that you read because you can’t be bothered to go on Club Penguin and find the secret items for yourself. This website is here so you can sit down and have a laugh. You know, just enjoy reading it. Yeah, it’s still about Club Penguin, and I will tell you about it, but it’ll be more exciting than that. It’ll be . . . well . . . I dunno! It’ll be awwweeesssooommmee! Basically.

On Paintboy100’s site (soz about this, Paintboy100 and Antras), all he ever did was stick the secrets on and tell you what was up. Sure, he had some funny pics, but doesn’t everyone? It was helpful, sure, but boring! And how about Watex? He brought Paintboy’s idea one step further, with a helpful site which was kinda fun too. Well, this site gets rid of the “Here’s the cheats, bye” bit, and that means more of the awwweeesssooommmeness!

My point is . . . well . . . enjoy!

Whoa! CP has been busy . . .

Hi!

There’s a lot of new stuff on the island that is Club Penguin! Well, for a start, there’s Rockhopper! If you’ve been waiting for me to return, then don’t worry! I’m still my ever-so-slightly humorous old self!

So, yeah . . . Rockhopper. He’s back, but he’s cheaply ripped us off by bringing back not one, not two but three older items for us. Still, there are two clothing items for members, although I don’t think I’ll buy ‘em. I only have 15 coins for goodness sake! I’ve been away for too long. My penguin has probably had to buy all of his food without earning any money . . . sad that. ANYWAY . . . here’s a picture of Rockhopper’s Rare Items:

Like the subtle (well, maybe not that subtle) effects on the edges and the centre? No? Oh . . . sorry.

I notice that the Captain’s quarters are still as full as ever . . . ah well.

So . . . there’s a new Sports Catalog! Just some random Soccer Boots or something like that that make you kick a ball. Which looks all right, really.

And, um . . . a new mission or two. Possibly three. I dunno, but I’m going to do them now. So, um, bye.
